The Dundgobi aimag is semi-desert and steppe. The average elevation of the area is 990-1926 meter above sea level and the highest peak is Delgerkhangai peak in the Delgerkhangai somon. There are semi-desert, such as Oldokh, Tugrug, Nomgon, Ergenegene, and springs, such as Togoo, Ungut, Khadan Us, This aimag is full of beautiful places such as Ikhe Gazriin Chuluu, Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Sum khukh oasis, Tsagaan stupa-piramid, Uush dunes to attract tourists. The number of livestock is 1.780 thousand heads. The aimag is rich in natural resources and has several discovered deposits on its territory.
